Kerala Piravi 2024: Happy Kerala Piravi! Every year, the foundation day of the state of Kerala is celebrated with a lot of pomp and grandeur in the state. On this day, the Malayalam-speaking areas were consolidated to be the state of Kerala.Every year, November 1 is celebrated as Kerala Piravi. The Malayalam word ‘piravi’ refers to the birth of something. Kerala Piravi is celebrated as the birth anniversary of the state of Kerala. On this day social science department conducted an exhibition, malayali manka competition, video presentation, quiz and Game.

Students showcased programs that depicted Kerala’s unique cultural identity, rich festivals, lush landscapes, and contributions to literature, education, and social development. The celebration not only instilled a sense of pride in Kerala’s legacy but also encouraged participants to preserve and promote its cultural heritage. Kerala Piravi served as both a tribute to the state’s foundation and a reminder of the importance of unity, diversity, and sustainable growth."

The Five-Day Community Living Camp was conducted successfully from 2/12/2025 to 6/12/2025 with the aim of fostering social responsibility, discipline, cooperation, and holistic personality development among students. The camp provided a structured environment where participants experienced community living through a balanced blend of physical activities, academic sessions, service learning, cultural expression, and reflective discussions. Each day of the camp followed a well-planned routine. The day began with yoga at 7:00 AM, promoting physical fitness, mental calmness, and self-discipline. Along with our regular responsibilities such as disciplinary duties, midday meal distribution, and classroom sessions, we were assigned several additional tasks. This week marked the commencement of the First Unit Examination. We were entrusted with duties like collecting, counting, and arranging exam papers into bundles, which we managed efficiently and with care. The Sports Meet Inauguration at St. Mary's Higher Secondary School took place on August 1st with great enthusiasm.
