A workshop on Theatre Practice was conducted on January 08, at college seminar hall, by Priyatha Bharathan, aiming to introduce participants to the fundamentals of acting, stagecraft, and performance techniques. Led by experienced theatre professionals, the session covered essential elements such as voice modulation, body language, improvisation, and character development. Participants actively engaged in various theatre exercises, role-plays, and group performances that enhanced their confidence, creativity, and expression. The interactive and hands-on approach of the workshop created an energetic learning environment, encouraging students to explore their artistic potential. The workshop concluded with a short group performance and feedback session, leaving attendees inspired and better equipped with practical theatre skills.
Attending the Workshop on Theatre Practice was an enriching and inspiring experience for me. It helped me understand the art of expression, body language, voice modulation, and stage presence, which are essential skills not only in theatre but also in everyday communication. The interactive sessions and practical exercises boosted my confidence and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone. I realized that theatre is not just a form of art but also a powerful medium to convey emotions, ideas, and social messages. This workshop motivated me to explore creative expression further and inspired me to participate more actively in cultural and artistic activities.
